Ryan Stables is an accomplished professional in the field of audio and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Engineering Manager and Senior Developer at ROLI since July 2022. As a Professor of Audio AI and Associate Professor at Birmingham City University since January 2014, Ryan has significantly impacted academic research and education. Ryan also founded and directs engineering at Semantic Audio Labs from January 2018 to June 2025, following a role as a Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University in early 2014.
