Sid Kalla

Sid Kalla has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sid started their career as a Summer Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science in 2007. Sid then worked as a Research Assistant at the Tampere University of Technology in 2008.

In 2010, Sid joined the University of Michigan as a Research Assistant, where they focused on researching preconditioning of Navier Stokes equations. Sid worked in this position until 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, Sid worked as a Financial Software Developer at Bloomberg. In this role, they developed software for financial purposes.

Sid then became an Independent Consultant in 2013 and specialized in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency research. Sid contributed to prominent publications like CoinDesk and American Banker and played a key role in content and news development.

In 2014, Sid joined Acupay System LLC as the Chief Technology Officer. Sid was a part of building Europe's first tax and compliance solution for clearing and settlement of securities at central securities depositories. Sid also contributed to the TARGET2-Securities initiative by the European Central Bank. Sid held this position until 2017.

Since 2017, Sid has been the Co-Founder and CTO at Roll, a company that focuses on building infrastructure for social tokens. Sid has played a crucial role in the company's development and growth.

Sid Kalla's education history includes a Master of Science in Engineering in Aerospace Engineering, which was obtained from the University of Michigan in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Sid Kalla holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, which was obtained from the CFA Institute in October 2016.
