Hales Rymel

Hales Rymel has had a varied career, beginning in 2012 as a Korean Linguist for the United States Air Force. In 2014, they became a Digital Media Specialist for the United States Naval Academy, where they created and managed multiple social media accounts and grew both the engagement and reach by over 500%. In 2015, they began working as a Freelance Web Designer and Software Tester, creating custom websites for small companies and individuals, as well as contracting as a short-term tester for websites, video games, and online applications. In 2016, they were a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for Skyline Technology Solutions, where they implemented processes and procedures to support agile process for the software development department, created and executed automated software test plans, cases and scripts, and documented software defects. Hales also worked as a Network Engineer for HI-TECH Business Systems in 2016. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Automation Engineer for Dragos, Inc., where they wrote automation tests utilizing Selenium Webdriver with Python, created API tests for multiple services using Postman, and worked with the team to create a test framework for a complex product. Currently, they are a Quality Assurance Manager for Roll20.
