Patrick van der Meide

Patrick Van Der Meide has extensive experience in the heavy shipping, transportation, lifting, and installation projects industry. Patrick currently serves as the Managing Director of Roll Africa at Roll Group, where they are responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the company's new Africa Region. Prior to this role, they were the Managing Director of Altra Africa, specializing in business development, market entry, and management of joint ventures in Africa.

Before their current positions, Patrick spent several years at Mammoet, where they held various leadership roles including Global Sales Director, Director of Sales and Marketing for both the USA and Americas regions, Regional Manager Sales, and Senior Commercial Manager.

Earlier in their career, Patrick worked at ALE, where they held roles such as General Director for ALE Russia, Sales Manager, Branche Manager for ALE Qatar, and Operations Manager.

Patrick Van Der Meide received their Bachelor of Science degree in HTS WTB (Mechanical Engineering) from Hogeschool Brabant, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their VWO degree in Beta Subjects at Mencia de Mendoza Lyceum, attending from 1989 to 1998.
