Markus D. has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 1997, they co-founded FMD Webdesign, a software company specializing in eCommerce and web design for small and medium-sized businesses. Markus was involved in the company until 2004. In 1998, Markus co-founded several retail stores and online shops, where they played a role until 2012. In 2007, they worked as a consultant at Trends Consulting for a year. From 2011 to 2017, Markus worked at SAP Hybris, starting as an analyst for Commerce and eventually taking on a global role in solution strategy and portfolio management. In 2015, they began working as a guest lecturer at Aalen University until 2019, and then moved to HNU - Hochschule Neu-Ulm, University of Applied Sciences, where they held the position of guest lecturer until March 2023. In 2017, Markus co-founded rfrnz, where they were involved until 2018. In 2017, they also founded mPocket, the company in which they are still actively involved. Their most recent position is as the Chief Executive Officer at Rollio AI, starting from March 2023. Additionally, Markus has been a community member at 2hearts since July 2021.
