Timothée Pouchon

Mathematician/R&D Software Engineer

Timothée Pouchon has a strong background in applied mathematics, holding a PhD from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) achieved in 2017 and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution. Experience includes serving as a PhD Researcher and subsequently a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL, focusing on multiscale methods for wave propagation and numerical methods for stochastic differential equations. Timothée also contributed to the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics by developing a Python tool for gene mutation database management. As a SNSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Edinburgh, research focused on the mathematical foundations of machine learning training methods. Currently, Timothée works as a Mathematician and R&D Software Engineer at Rollomatic SA, specializing in computational geometry for precision cutting tool grinding software development.
