Chris Pook

Chris Pook is currently the Head of Government Relations at Rolls-Royce, where they focus on the development of novel nuclear technologies to support economic growth and the transition to a net zero economy. Previously, Chris held various roles, including Deputy Director at the Government Office for Science and Director for the Department for International Trade in SE Asia. With extensive policy experience in nuclear, energy, and industrial strategy, Chris has strengthened collaborations among government, business, and academia. They have also served as a diplomat, representing UK interests in the USA, Japan, and SE Asia. Chris holds a First Class BSc (hons) from the University of Bristol.
