Conor Cullen

FPGA Design Engineer

Conor Cullen is an experienced FPGA Design Engineer currently working at Rolls-Royce since October 2023. Previously, Conor served as the Lead Electrical Engineer for Project MarsWorks, overseeing the electrical integration of components for a Mars rover developed by a team of over 20 students for international competitions. Conor's experience includes roles at Triumph Motorcycles Limited as a Student Design Engineer focusing on electrical component design, as well as test and development, and involvement in engineering projects such as Project Hex, where flight control systems were designed for a hex-copter. Conor also participated as a Student Ambassador at The University of Sheffield, enhancing engagement with prospective students, and has completed internships at MK Test Systems Ltd and Hiab UK. Conor holds a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Sheffield, along with A-levels in Maths, Geography, and Physics from St Georges, Weybridge.
