Dave Richards

Dave Richards is currently the Global Head of Sanctions & Export Control for the Defense business at Rolls-Royce, where they lead a team to provide compliance support across various sectors, including Aerospace, Naval, Nuclear, and Space markets. Previously, they held several key positions within Rolls-Royce, including Sr. Export Control Manager and Head of Defense Export Control for North America, where they operationalized export control processes to facilitate business growth. Dave also served in the Indiana Army National Guard, rising through the ranks to hold significant leadership roles, and completed active duty as a Cavalry Officer in the U.S. Army. They hold a BA in International Relations from Purdue University and are currently pursuing advanced education at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Maneuver Center of Excellence.
