David Cushen

David Cushen is an experienced professional in learning and organizational development, currently serving as the Head of Learning at Rolls-Royce since September 2025, where the focus is on leveraging innovation and technology to enhance critical capabilities across the enterprise. Prior to this role, David held the position of Head of Learning at Anglo American from June 2020 to September 2025 and led a substantial corporate learning organization at Shell from November 2006 to March 2020, where responsibilities included supporting the professional development of staff and leaders globally. David also has extensive experience in HR strategy and consulting from roles at Shell and Accenture, and began career as a Marketing Analyst at the Electricity Supply Board. Educational background includes a degree from Trinity College Dublin and attendance at Belvedere College.
