Fiona Barton is currently the Assistant Chief Engineer for Future Reactor Cores and Technology at Rolls-Royce, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this, they served as the Capability Manager for Engineering Operations and led a team responsible for designing the control and instrumentation systems for the UK's next-generation nuclear submarines. Fiona's experience includes supporting the President of Submarines with high-level technical and operational tasks and conducting research on materials for nuclear submarine reactors. They earned a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge in 2008, following a series of engineering training attachments.
