John Shade

John Shade currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Development & Future Programs at Rolls-Royce North America since May 2021. Previously, Shade held various senior leadership roles at Rolls-Royce, including Senior Vice President of LibertyWorks Advanced Development and Advanced Programs, as well as Program Director positions. Shade began a career at Rolls-Royce in May 2005 as Director of Business Development for Advanced Defense Programs. Educational credentials include an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University.
