Jonathan Oates

Jonathan Oates serves as the Vice President of Corporate Finance at Rolls-Royce since October 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing Structured Asset Financing, strategy, financing, and contract management, alongside facilitating a $1bn Sustainability Linked Loan Facility. Prior to this role, Jonathan Oates was the Marketing Director for South Asia and Africa at Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance from March 2013 to November 2021, managing sales and marketing activities in the region. Jonathan Oates also held positions as Business Development Manager at Rolls-Royce (Thailand) Ltd and Training and Development Advisor at Apricot Training Management, contributing to various sectors including Defence, Energy, and Marine. Jonathan Oates began the professional journey as a Cluster Development Officer at UFI, focusing on business development in the Food and Beverage industry. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in International Business and Management from De Montfort University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Management from The University of Manchester.
