Jörg Au

Jörg Au is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. They earned their Diplom-Ingenieur in Physical Engineering Sciences from Technische Universität Berlin in 1995, followed by a PhD awarded summa cum laude in 2001 for their research in thermodynamics. At Rolls-Royce, Jörg held various leadership roles, culminating in their current position as Director Engineering, Technology & Safety Civil Aerospace and Executive Director RRD, where they lead a team of approximately 500 engineers focused on developing modular sub-systems and components for aero-engines. Prior to this, they served as Chief Project Engineer and Engineering Director, contributing significantly to technology development in aviation.
