Mark Thorne has extensive experience in the engineering field, spanning more than three decades. Mark began the career as a Manufacturing Engineer at BAE Systems from 1986 to 2010, followed by a similar role at Rolls-Royce until 2014. From September 2014 to January 2021, Mark worked at Sandvik Coromant as a Project Engineer specializing in the aerospace region and also served as an Application Specialist. Mark holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, along with various diplomas and certificates in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management from South Tyneside College and other institutions.
