Matthew Thomas is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Manager at Rolls-Royce since April 2010, Matthew has successfully led a team in the development and verification of Full Authority Digital Engine Control systems, ensuring project deliverables align with budget and scope objectives. Previously, Matthew held senior engineering positions at Hill-Rom, where risk assessment efforts were organized for medical device development, GE Aviation, where requirements and embedded software for aircraft engine control systems were developed, and Dynetics, Inc., focusing on missile defense systems. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Morehead State University.
