Mia Smart possesses a diverse background in engineering and manufacturing, beginning with a Year in Industry placement at EDF Energy in the Control and Instrumentation Department. Following this experience, Mia undertook an apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce specializing in materials engineering and non-destructive testing, obtaining a BTEC in Engineering. Roles at Rolls-Royce include Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader, Production Leader in Defence Manufacturing, and Non-Destructive Testing L3 Manufacturing Laboratory Technologist, alongside participation in the Assembly and Manufacturing Leadership Development Scheme.
