Rob Watson

President, Civil Aerospace at Rolls-Royce

Rob Watson has been with Rolls-Royce since October 2009, serving first as Programme Director of Integration before becoming President of Rolls-Royce Electrical in December 2015. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Watson spent seven years with the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in a variety of political reporting roles including postings to Israel (1998-2001) and Uganda covering the Great Lakes (2004-2007). Before that, they spent two years as Government and Public Affairs manager for BG Group assets in Africa and parts of the Middle East.

Rob Watson completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Theirtory and Politics at the University of Leeds. Rob then went on to complete a Master's degree in International Relations at the same school. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Foreign Policy from the University of Leeds.

They work with Chris Cholerton - President, Civil Aerospace, Andreas Schell - CEO, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, and Tom Bell - President, Defence & President/CEO, Rolls-Royce North America. Their manager is Warren East, CEO.
