Steve Mackereth has over 20 years of experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Project Lead for Offsite Data Access in Civil Aerospace Engineering Transformation at Rolls-Royce since April 2008. In this role, Steve is responsible for global project delivery to engineering suppliers, including strategy creation and agreements. Prior roles at Rolls-Royce include Business Change & Technical Lead for the Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure programme, Engineering Improvement Specialist, and Knowledge Management Engineer, where Steve focused on business-critical transformations and knowledge sharing. Before joining Rolls-Royce, Steve worked as an Applications Engineer at BAND-IT IDEX, managing automotive applications, and as a Production Engineer at Labinal, overseeing production setups for engine wiring harnesses. Steve began a career in engineering with BMT Defence Services Ltd, where analysis and database development for Royal Navy systems were key responsibilities. Steve holds a degree in Materials Engineering from Loughborough University.
