Thomas Poon is the UT Method Owner and Subject Matter Expert for Standards at Rolls-Royce, where they currently serve as a Senior NDE Engineer. Previously, they held the position of Section Lead for NDE Research & Future Technology at Rolls-Royce and worked as an NDE Development Engineer from 2015 to 2021. With a background in metallurgy, Thomas has also been a Senior Product Metallurgist and NDT Technologist at Tata Steel Europe. They earned a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Queen Mary, University of London, graduating with First Class Honours.
