Tim Western

Tim Western is a manufacturing engineering manager at Rolls-Royce with extensive experience in cost reduction and quality improvement for CMC manufacturing processes. Since joining Rolls-Royce in September 2016, Tim has held various positions, including Producibility Lead - Technical Specialist and Manufacturing & Process Engineer II, where significant contributions such as a 300% capacity increase in MI Pre-Production equipment were achieved. Tim’s earlier roles at Rolls-Royce included responsibilities in manufacturing process engineering and project management, along with contributions to supplier quality and testing in the fuel pump sector. Tim's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and specialized studies in fire protection engineering, enhancing expertise in engineering principles and project execution across different domains.
