Thomas Neirynck is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in data visualization, mapping software, and GIS applications. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Rollstack since September 2025, Thomas previously held the position of Tech Lead at Elastic from July 2016 to September 2025, where significant contributions were made to the Analytics team and Kibana development, including leadership of the Visualization and Maps teams. Prior experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Geopackage SWG at OGC, a Senior Software Engineer at Luciad, and Co-Founder of Calculingua, among other roles that underline a strong expertise in software development and data standards.
