As a 20-year veteran and leader in the independent film industry, Roman Pictures is one of the original independent film and broadcast production companies in the MD/VA/DC area.

At a time when the term 'independent movie production' was unheard of, Roman Pictures was paving the way to the thriving independent film community that can be found here today.

Carlos Etzio Roman is the creative force that continues to make Roman Pictures grow and become popular through his creative writing, out of the box thinking, eye for talented actors, and love of story telling through movie making.

Through the years he has slowly built one of the few serious movie production companies to be found locally, in turn gaining the trust and loyalty of serious actors and crew.
