Demian De Wit

Demian De Wit has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Demian most recently worked as a Product Manager at Rombit starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Mourik Industry including Marketing Manager, Innovation Manager, New Product Development Manager in the industrial division, and Product Engineer. At Mourik Industry, they were responsible for strategic marketing, managing new product launches, developing an innovation strategy, and leading a team of engineers and project managers for new product development.

Before joining Mourik Industry, Demian worked as a Freelance Designer at Standaard Uitgeverij, where they digitally re-created handwriting of cartoon artists into computer fonts for use in cartoon albums. Demian also worked as a Freelance Designer at Leo's gifts, where they designed packaging, glassware, and textiles using Adobe software. During this time, they also worked on pre-press activities such as lithographic film separations for glassware production and textile printing.

Earlier in their career, Demian had a summer internship at D-science Lab HA, where they developed the mechanical design and servo driver circuit for a prototype laser scanner, showcasing the feasibility of Linux Real-time in embedded systems. Overall, Demian has a diverse range of experience in product management, marketing, innovation, new product development, design, and engineering.

Demian De Wit obtained a Master's Degree in Master of Product Development from the University of Antwerp. This education lasted from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, they attended the Antwerp Management School and became a PMI Certified Project Manager, specializing in Project Management Institute. Additionally, in 2006, Demian completed a SolidWorks Advanced course on 3D CAD modeling at Cadmes. In 2017, they attended Vlerick Business School, where they completed the Take the Lead - Digital Disruption Sprint, a 12-week mixed interactive online and live course focused on digital innovation.
