Eric Furtado, MASc, currently serves in various engineering roles at Romet Limited since April 2019, focusing on mechanical and manufacturing engineering, as well as capacity analysis to predict future manufacturing bottlenecks. Prior experience includes a 16-month internship at Romet Limited, where Eric contributed to process improvement and automation projects. As the Senior Design Lead for Ryerson Rams Robotics, Eric led the design and manufacturing of competitive robotic projects while applying technical skills from academic studies. Eric's educational background includes a Master's in Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation from Ryerson University. Additional experience includes roles in campus planning at Ryerson University and customer service at Freshco.
