Junaid Shams

Junaid Shams has worked in the telecom and entertainment industries for over a decade. In 2010, they co-founded GSM Nation, a telecom e-commerce company with a vision to promote and encourage the U.S. wireless industry to shift away from signing customers into binding contracts. In 2014, they co-founded Rooam, the leading contactless payment platform for the entertainment, sports, and hospitality industry by streamlining how you pay and order on-premise. Rooam is trusted by the most prominent entertainment and hospitality groups, including the Sacramento Kings (NBA), Live Nation, TAO Group, and José Andrés' ThinkFoodGroup.

Junaid Shams obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from The George Washington University in 2008.
