Ben Roth

Ben Roth has worked in the accounting and finance field since 2004. Ben started their career as an Accounting Controller at On Point Staffing. During their time there, they managed both the accounting and payroll departments, responsible for issuing 1,500 paychecks per week, invoicing and collections, processing payables, issuing financial statements, loan compliance, and managing the annual financial statement reviews. Ben was also responsible for hiring, training, and managing a staff of five.

In 2007, Ben Roth moved to Element Labs as an Accounting Consultant. At Element Labs, they performed extensive data mining and analysis using NetSuite and Excel, and provided high visibility reporting, analysis, and recommendations allowing management to understand expenditures and identify the highest priority projects. Ben also applied their systems expertise to quickly master NetSuite and act as the super-user.

In 2009, Ben Roth became self-employed and acted as a Campaign Treasurer for various campaigns. From 2010-2020, they worked at Driven Innovation LRV, Inc. as the VP of Operations and Controller. During their time there, they were responsible for the hands-on accounting including financial statements and tax compliance, project management, financial modeling, and FP&A both internally and on client projects.

In 2019, Ben Roth became self-employed again, this time as a Financial Business Consultant. In 2020, they worked at tempCFO, Inc. as a Controller. Currently, they are a Senior Controller at Rooled.

Ben Roth obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from San Jose State University in 1997. Ben then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2018. That same year, they completed the ESSEC Executive Education International Residency Program in Luxury Brand Management at ESSEC Business School. Additionally, they hold a CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
