Basile Tournié has a wealth of work experience in the hospitality industry. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Gouvernant at the Hotel Majestic Barrière. In 2009, they took on the role of Assistant Gouvernant at the Marriott Renaissance Arc de Triomphe. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Gouvernant d'étage at Intercontinental Paris Le Grand. In 2017, they took on the roles of Responsable des Opérations Client and Customer Success Manager at RoomChecking.

Basile Tournié obtained their Brevet des Collèges from Lycée Saint-Joseph. Basile then attended Lycée d'hôtellerie et de tourisme d'Occitanie, where they received a Bac Technologique Hôtelier and Mention complémentaire Assistant Gouvernant. In 2008, they completed an ESOL Level 1 from the University of Cambridge.
