Shane Murphy

Shane Murphy has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Financial Control Manager at Roomex since May 2018, with prior roles including Finance & Operations Manager, Interim Financial Controller, and Finance Manager. Prior to Roomex, Shane had a brief period of traveling and worked as a Financial Accountant at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Additional experience includes positions as Financial Accountant and Treasury Accountant at Brown Thomas Arnotts, and Auditor/Accountant at PwC where Shane held a senior associate role in the International & Domestic Business Assurance practice. Shane's career began at Murphy's Newsagents as a shop attendant from 2004 to 2009. Shane holds a Master of Arts in Accounting from Technological University of the Shannon and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Galway.
