Eric Sands

Eric Sands has extensive experience in the software engineering and quality assurance field, spanning over 25 years. Eric is currently the Senior Director of Software Engineering at RoomIt by CWT, where they lead multiple delivery teams and ensures alignment with the company's strategic priorities. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager at Capgemini, overseeing the digital transformation of a large-scale e-commerce platform. Eric has also held VP roles at SAVO Group, where they championed Agile adoption and quality engineering practices, and Sears, where they led a team supporting online web sites. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at SpringCM, ShopLocal, ORBITZ, TransUnion, ZEFER, and Connectix, where they focused on quality assurance and test engineering. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in driving product strategy, implementing Agile methodologies, and enhancing software quality.

Eric Sands attended Laguna Beach High School from 1987 to 1990. Eric then pursued higher education at the University of Arizona from 1990 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BAS) degree. Their field of study during this time was East Asian Studies with a specialization in Japanese. Additionally, Eric Sands obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2012 and the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute in November 2021.
