Mark Apter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital services, innovation, and e-commerce. Currently serving as Co-Founder and COO at Roomix since August 2021, Mark leads operations and product development, aiming to transform how families furnish their homes. Previously, Mark held the position of Founder In Residence at Founders Factory, where the concept for Roomix was developed. Between May 2017 and September 2021, Mark was the Head of Digital Services & Innovation at L'Oréal, blending venture thinking with digital product leadership. Mark's earlier roles include Head of Ecommerce at Moonpig.com, Online Commercial Development Manager at Tesco PLC, and various positions at B&Q, where significant contributions were made to enhance digital strategies and customer experiences. Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from De Montfort University, and has completed bootcamps in UX and programming at General Assembly and the University of Oxford.
