Matt Unger has a long history of work experience. Matt began their career in 2005 when they founded the activism site GoHomeIHSA.com. In 2010, they interned at AlphaZeta Interactive, where they learned about how a small software business operates. In 2011, they interned at SafeShepherd, where they learned about the programming language Ruby On Rails, data analysis, and the importance of data privacy. In 2012, they began freelancing, working on projects such as RateMyCoaches.com, which they later sold to a competitor. In 2013, they founded and became President of Roompact. In 2019, they joined the ACPA Foundation Board of Trustees.
Matt Unger attended Marquette University from 2007 to 2011.
