Torey Walker

Torey Walker has held various roles throughout their work experience. They began their career at Illinois Central College in 2009 as an Office Assistant, where they were responsible for secretarial duties and maintaining the organization of the tool room. In 2011, they joined Heartland Community College as an Office Assistant, where they handled phone inquiries, worked with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook, and completed various office tasks. In 2012, they worked as a Project Management Intern at American Combustion Services Inc., where their responsibilities included gathering quotes, contacting supply companies, and communicating with clients. In 2013, they interned at Illinois State University, where they created contracts for vendors, processed finished contracts and change orders, and attended pre-bid meetings. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Project Manager at Zdi, where they oversaw projects. Since 2016, Torey has been with RoomReady, initially as a Lead Project Manager and currently as the Director of Support.

Torey Walker attended Illinois Central College from 2009 to 2011, majoring in Construction Management. After that, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Construction Management with a minor in Safety from Illinois State University. In December 2012, Torey obtained the OSHA 30 Hour Card certification from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration.
