Seyed A.

Seyed A. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data analysis and transportation. Seyed started their most recent position as an Adjunct Lecturer at UBC Sauder School of Business in January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at roomvu starting in May 2019.

Before moving to Canada, Seyed A. worked for Tehran Municipality as a Data Modeler from March 2014 to July 2018. Seyed was responsible for various tasks such as field studies, O-D analysis, land-use analysis, time-volume functions, parking studies, and signing studies for transportation master plans and intelligent transportation systems.

Seyed A. also gained experience as a Statistical Analyst at Empa in 2010 and as a Transportation Engineer at the Institute for Transportation Studies & Research from 2004 to 2007.

Seyed A. completed their education in a chronological order. Seyed obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, graduating in 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Transportation System Management from the same university, graduating in 2006. Seyed A. continued their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Seyed A. has also obtained several certifications in the field of data analysis. Seyed completed various courses from DataCamp, including Introduction to R Course, Intermediate R Course, Cleaning Data in R Course, Intermediate R - Practice Course, Importing Data in R Course (Part 1), Importing Data in R Course (Part 2), Cleaning Data in R: Case Studies Course, Introduction to Data Course, and Exploratory Data Analysis Course.
