Finding a good flatmate should not feel like rolling dice with your peace of mind. rOOmy is building a student-first matching platform that replaces guesswork with clarity. Instead of endless chats, vague profiles and surprise incompatibilities, we focus on what actually drives a healthy shared home: habits, expectations and verified identity.

Our rOOmie Score analyzes lifestyle patterns, routines, budget alignment and university data to rank compatibility before the first message is ever sent. Every user is verified through an academic email to dramatically reduce fake profiles and fraud attempts. Once matched, conversations happen in a secure in-app environment designed to keep things simple and efficient.

rOOmy serves students moving to new cities, international and exchange students who arrive without a network, and master’s students seeking reliable shared housing options. We aim to shorten weeks of uncertainty into minutes of clarity, helping users form safer, more compatible living arrangements.

Behind the product sits a broader vision. Housing for young people is too fragmented, too risky and too slow. rOOmy wants to build the trusted layer that students rely on when starting a new chapter, a digital space where compatibility becomes visible and decision-making becomes faster, safer and fairer.

If you're building solutions in student mobility, housing, identity verification or behavioral matching, we’re open to conversations.
