Jonathan Gardner

Jonathan Gardner is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in human resources and management. They served as General Manager and Human Resources Manager at Happy Snappy from 2016 to 2025, where they played a pivotal role in developing standard operating procedures and managing talent acquisition. Prior to this, they held various HR positions at several companies, including 5rooms.com and Rocket Internet South Africa. Currently, Jonathan is the Chief of Staff at Root, overseeing strategic initiatives and organizational effectiveness. They hold multiple degrees, including a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Stellenbosch University and a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.
