We are a specialist consultancy that develops impactful partnerships with leading brands who want to do more with less.

We deliver advisory, impact, strategy and regulatory support to global brands and packaging producers to help them identify and mitigate risk and become responsible leaders.

Our mission is to change the mindset of the packaging and consumer goods industries by championing a responsible, regenerative future for the design of goods and packaging. We are backed by over 65 years of unrivalled experience in the team across packaging design, innovation, sustainability, regulation and waste management.

Design for Life is our bespoke lifecycle methodology – the trusted force that drives every single output we deliver and piece of advice we give. Design for life is at the core of Root’s Impact Analysis service, our proprietary impact measurement tool which brands have relied on to direct packaging choices for global roll out.

Tracy, the Founder and Director, leads a focused and passionate team of experts whose expertise follows the full lifecycle of packaging. She is a high-profile industry expert, regular speaker at international conferences, respected commentator in the national and trade media, and a guest lecturer at various academic institutions.

Tracy serves as a Non-Executive Director for the sustainability consultancy Fit For Purpose, Advisory Board Member for Packaging Europe and is the packaging expert on La Prairie’s Sustainability Advisory Council.
