Our flagship event, Root & Rise Symposium, takes place July 23–25, 2026, in Salem, Virginia at Roanoke College, bringing together leaders from research, policy, education, business, healthcare and government for meaningful conversations around emerging cannabis markets.

Designed to encourage collaboration and fresh thinking, the symposium combines expert-led programming, networking, experiential learning and community engagement in a setting that fosters genuine connection. Topics span cannabis science, medical research, regulation, workforce development, market expansion, cultivation, retail, hemp and the evolving policy landscape.

Whether you’re a researcher, policymaker, entrepreneur, educator, student, healthcare professional or industry stakeholder, Root & Rise offers a place to learn, connect and help shape what comes next.
