Marshal Morse has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marshal began their career as an Information Technology Administrator at Zion Bible College, where they implemented a campus-wide LAN and WAN and supported campus administration software. During this time, they also served as an Associate Professor of Bible and Theology, teaching courses on ancient texts and theology and participating in college committees.
After their time at Zion Bible College, Marshal worked as an Associate Pastor of Community Outreach at New Hope International Church, where they directed efforts to connect with the surrounding neighborhood and created action plans for congregation revitalization.
Marshal then transitioned to the role of IT Consultant at Taos, providing consulting services in the field of information technology.
Marshal further expanded their skill set by serving as a Senior Pastor at Aptos Christian Fellowship. In this role, they performed pastoral duties, provided counseling, and oversaw various church projects, including the establishment of a missions committee and the organization of an annual outreach event.
From there, Marshal joined Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, U.S.A. as the Director of Washburn U. Marshal held this position for eight years, overseeing the ministry's operations and serving as a spiritual mentor to university students.
In 2020, Marshal took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at PureSound Network. As CTO, they were responsible for the technological direction of the company.
Most recently, Marshal joined Rooted Software as a Senior Software Engineer in 2021.
Marshal Morse pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biblical Languages with a focus on Ancient Greek and Hebrew Languages from Central Bible College. Marshal attended this institution from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 1997 to 2001, they completed their Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Theology from Regent College in Vancouver, BC.
