Willem Pino

Willem Pino is a founding engineer at Rootline, where they help fintechs facilitate reliable and secure money movement at scale. Prior to this role, they worked as a Java Developer at Adyen, contributing to the scalability team and leading integrations for payment systems. Willem has also served as a tech lead in containerization, enhancing cloud capabilities for payment applications. They began their career as a research intern at TNO, publishing research on network reliability and machine learning. Willem holds a Bachelor of Science in theoretical physics and philosophy from University College Utrecht and advanced degrees in computing science from Utrecht University.
