Monica Vargas

Monica Vargas has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Monica is currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Rootree Inc. since September 2022. Before that, they had their own freelance graphic design business, Monica Vargas - Graphic Design, since September 2013.

Prior to their freelance work, Monica worked as a Graphic Designer and Production Coordinator at tiptap from November 2021 to September 2022.

Monica also has experience working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Rogers Media Company from May 2005 to May 2011, where they collaborated with the Creative team to develop strategies and creative concepts for print advertising.

Before that, Monica worked as an Intern at Transcontinental Media in 2005, and as an Art Director at Grupo Medios from July 2000 to June 2004, where they oversaw the overall look of the magazine and managed the art department.

Their career began as a Graphic Designer at Notmusa from May 1999 to June 2000.

Monica Vargas pursued their education at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México from 1994 to 1999. During this period, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Following a break from formal education, from 2004 to 2005, Monica attended Centennial College. Monica enrolled in a Postgraduate Degree program with a focus on Publishing, specifically Book and Magazine.
