ROOTS Fellowship Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Indigenous wisdom by supporting the next generation of knowledge keepers.

Across the world, ancestral traditions — including traditional healing, ecological knowledge, and spiritual lineages — are at risk of disappearing. These traditions carry profound knowledge about human well-being, community, and our relationship with nature, yet the communities who safeguard them often lack the resources needed to sustain and transmit them.

ROOTS Fellowship provides financial support and fellowship opportunities for Indigenous students and apprentices called to continue their community’s traditional knowledge systems. By supporting their training, we help ensure that ancestral wisdom can be preserved and passed to future generations.

We work in partnership with Indigenous communities to strengthen cultural lineages, support community-led education, and build bridges between traditional wisdom keepers and global supporters.

Our vision is a world where Indigenous knowledge traditions thrive and the wisdom that sustains life and balance with nature continues to guide future generations.
