Erol Uzumeri

Mr. Uzumeri is a Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P., and is jointly responsible for overseeing the firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. Prior to co-founding Searchlight in 2010, Mr. Uzumeri was the head of Private Equity for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Mr. Uzumeri is currently Chairman of the board of M&M Food Market and serves on the boards of Mitel Networks and the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. Mr. Uzumeri graduated from the University of Toronto, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Industrial Engineering and received a Master of Science degree in Finance from the London Business School.
