Sonya Thomas

VP, eCommerce & Customer Experience at Roots

Sonya Thomas joined Roots in 2022 as Vice President of eCommerce and Customer Experience. Previously, she spent four years at SSENSE (Canada), leading teams and projects across a wide range of functions, including private brands, retail, merchandising, marketing, and strategy. She also has experience leading eCommerce and omnichannel customer experience teams at Brown Thomas (Ireland) and Macy's Inc. (USA). She began her career as a strategy consultant at Bain and Company, working across its global office network for several years. Sonya holds an Honors BA in International Relations from Brown University, an MPA-ID from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
