Anthony Figueroa

Anthony Figueroa has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anthony is the CTO and Co-founder of Rootstrap, where they have been since 2011. At Rootstrap, they have played a key role in helping scale digital solutions for well-known companies such as Microsoft, Epson, Masterclass, Spotify, and Salesforce. Anthony has also contributed to creating a distributed agile team with members located in various cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Sistemas Informaticos SRL from 2008 to 2011.

Anthony Figueroa completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences at Universidad de la República from 2003 to 2008, with a focus on software. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning - Decision Making from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in February 2020, Applied Data Science Specialization from the University of Michigan in December 2019, R for Data Scientists from Stanford University in October 2019, and Turn Data into Insights with Predictive Modeling from Stanford University in August 2019.
