Alexia Lock

Alexia Lock has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Junior Associate at PwC Malta, gaining experience in funds and insurance industries. Alexia then worked as an English Teacher at AIESEC no Brasil for a short period in 2013.

Returning to PwC Malta in 2013, Alexia assumed the role of Associate, where they worked on audit testing and coached junior team members. In 2015, they moved to PwC Australia, where they worked as an Accountant and later as a Senior Accountant, specializing in consumer industrial products and services clients.

In 2017, Alexia joined CSR Limited as an Accountant, performing month-end tasks and completing balance sheet reconciliations. Alexia then worked as a Financial Review Specialist at Meeting Point International, conducting quality review assignments and evaluating accounting procedures and internal controls.

Alexia's next role was at Sunday in Scotland, where they served as an Accountant & Stock Controller. In 2019, they joined Evolution Gaming as a Senior Accountant, and in 2021, they started working as a Finance Projects Manager at Rootz LTD.

Overall, Alexia's work experience showcases their expertise in accounting, financial review, project management, and team leadership in various industries and international settings.

Alexia Lock attended St Joseph School Sliema from 1994 to 2006 for their primary and secondary education. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at St Aloysius College from 2006 to 2008 to pursue their A'Levels, with a focus on Accounting and Mathematics.

Continuing their academic journey, Alexia attended the University of Malta from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Accountancy and Marketing. Alexia then pursued further education at the University of Malta from 2011 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree with a focus on Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation.

In addition to their formal education, Alexia obtained a qualification as a Certified Public Accountant with a Certificate in Auditing from the Malta Accountancy Board in December 2016.
