ROOYA is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting community recovery and economic resilience in Syria, with a focus on empowering individuals and local entrepreneurs to rebuild sustainable livelihoods. In a context where many communities continue to face economic hardship and limited opportunities, ROOYA works to move beyond short-term aid by investing in long-term solutions that strengthen local capacity and restore economic activity.

ROOYA’s approach focuses on entrepreneurship, skills development, and community-driven recovery. Through its programs, the organization supports aspiring entrepreneurs and small business founders with training, mentorship, and structured incubation that help transform ideas into viable ventures. By helping entrepreneurs launch and grow businesses, ROOYA contributes to job creation and the revitalization of local economies.

One of the organization’s key initiatives is the AMAL Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, which supports Syrian entrepreneurs through a structured incubation process that includes business training, mentorship, market validation, and venture development. The program helps participants develop validated business models, build minimum viable products (MVPs), and prepare their ventures for launch.

ROOYA works closely with local partners and community organizations in Syria to ensure that its programs respond to real local needs and operate effectively in challenging environments. By combining local partnerships with structured incubation and capacity-building programs, ROOYA aims to support a new generation of entrepreneurs who can contribute to economic recovery and sustainable development in Syria.

Through this work, ROOYA seeks to strengthen livelihood resilience, create employment opportunities, and support the long-term recovery of Syrian communities.
