Brian Blais

Brian Blais serves as a partner in the litigation and enforcement practice group at Ropes & Gray LLP since January 2021, focusing on white-collar investigations and civil litigation across various industries, including healthcare and financial services. Prior to this role, Brian held multiple positions at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York from 2010 to 2020, culminating as Co-Chief of the General Crimes Unit and Deputy Chief of Appeals. Brian's earlier career includes serving as an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP and a secondee at Pfizer's Corporate Compliance Group, as well as experience as a city councilman in Woonsocket, RI. Brian began professional endeavors in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, progressing from analyst to associate. Educational qualifications include a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB in Economics from Harvard University.
