David Kaye

David Kaye is a seasoned real estate attorney with significant experience in representing a diverse array of clients, including investors, funds, developers, investment banks, REITs, public companies, and private equity firms. Since April 2022, David serves on Law360's 2022 Real Estate Editorial Advisory Board. David has held a partner position at Ropes & Gray LLP since February 2016, where responsibilities include negotiating joint venture agreements, acquisitions, and commercial leasing transactions. Prior to this, David was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from February 2011 to January 2016 and an associate at Clifford Chance US LLP from October 2007 to January 2011, specializing in similar areas of real estate law. Earlier career roles include law clerk and legal intern positions, culminating in a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BA from the University of Florida.
