Ebony Smith

Ebony Smith is a dedicated legal professional with diverse experience in law and media. Currently serving as a Summer Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP since May 2025, Smith previously held the position of Law Fellow at the same firm. Smith's background includes significant roles such as a Media Law and Entertainment Consulting Associate at DoggHouse Consulting and an Editorial Writer and Columnist for The Harvard Crimson. Instructing as a Pre-Law and Politics Instructor at The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies, Smith also gained practical experience as a Law Intern at Holland & Knight LLP. Smith has a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Government and African and African American Studies from Harvard University and currently pursuing a Doctor of Law at Columbia Law School.
